The Pleasantville Farmers Market is open at Memorial Plaza this Saturday, May 28. We're kicking off a new summer season, with tables and chairs in the gazebo and shaded grass area, our largest and most exciting vendor roster in years, and the return of the Market's popular events schedule including Market Sprouts kids events, Music Series performances, and a new Community Tent featuring local organizations. In June Health & Sustainability and Chef Demo events will be back as well. (Details about this week's events are listed further below - and note that, while the Market is always rain or shine, our events are weather permitting).
The growing season is gaining momentum so the Market welcomes back more seasonal produce each week: asparagus! rhubarb! strawberries! crisp spring greens! Dobler Farms will be making their first visit of the season, completing our roster of regional growers. And our other farmers and food artisans also have plenty of ingredients and treats for memory-making meals on this holiday weekend.
See you at the Market!
